The Parish Finance Council assists the Pastor in the temporal administration of parish resources. While it does not exercise any legal control over parish assets, it nonetheless  serves as a resource of knowledge and expertise on financial matters, placing these skills at the service of the pastor and the parish. (Diocesan Policy) Of particular interest to the Finance Council is the stewardship of treasure by parishioners in support of the ministries and programs of the parish.
